The Story Behind The Lawfully Fit Life
[01]
I'm Brandie Farmer, a graduate of the Master of Arts in Legal Studies program and a lifelong believer in the power of discipline, growth, and purpose. My journey has been anything but traditional. Through perseverance, faith, and a commitment to continuous learning, I returned to school as an adult learner and earned multiple degrees, culminating in a master's degree in Legal Studies. Along the way, I discovered that success is rarely about talent alone. Rather, it is built through consistency, resilience, and the willingness to keep moving forward. Professionally, my work centers on legal studies, advocacy, and service. Personally, I am passionate about wellness, personal development, and living intentionally. I believe that caring for the mind, body, and spirit creates the foundation necessary to serve others effectively and pursue meaningful goals. The Lawfully Fit Life was created to reflect those values. It is a space where legal insight, disciplined living, faith, and personal growth come together. Through my portfolio, writing, and reflections, I hope to encourage others who are pursuing their goals, overcoming obstacles, and building lives of purpose. Thank you for visiting and being part of the journey.

Missouri Work Assistance Individual Employment Plan (2015)

This Individual Employment Plan marks the beginning of my higher education journey. Developed in partnership with the Missouri Family Support Division, it outlines the educational and employment goals established as I enrolled in community college to pursue an Associate degree in Criminal Justice.
What began as a plan for self-sufficiency became the foundation for continued academic and professional growth. Since this document was created, I have earned an Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, a Paralegal Certificate, and a Master of Arts in Legal Studies.
I include this document not as a measure of where I started, but as a reminder of how intentional planning, perseverance, and continuous learning can transform long-term goals into lasting accomplishments.
